Access and Setup

Why don't I see Insights in my account?

Access depends on your role. Reach out to your OEC representative if you believe you should have access.

Why does my report only show some of my locations?

You'll only see data for the locations linked to your account. If you expect to see a location that isn't showing, reach out to your OEC representative. See Your Access and Locations in Getting Started with RepairLogic Insights for more detail.

I'm on a single-shop account. Why does my report look different?

Location filters only apply to multi-shop (MSO) accounts. If you run a single shop, you won't see a location filter anywhere, and your Location Adoption & Usage report shows metric tiles instead of a table. Metrics that only apply to multi-shop accounts won't appear for you.

Reports

How often is the data updated?

Your reports reflect live data. As your team creates Repair Plans and adds procedures, that activity is reflected in Insights without any delay.

Can I download my reports?

Yes. Each report has a Download button in the top right that exports an Excel file matching your current filters. For steps, see Downloading a Report in Using Reports in RepairLogic Insights.

Why does a report show "No data yet"?

This means no Repair Plans were created for that location and month. It is not an error.

What is Research Rate?

Research Rate is the percentage of Repair Plans where OEM procedures were researched before the repair. A higher Research Rate means your team is consistently looking up manufacturer procedures before starting work.

What is Activity Rate?

Activity Rate is the percentage of your active locations that created at least one Repair Plan in the selected period. It reflects how broadly the platform is being used across your organization.

If I set a filter, does it apply to every report?

Yes. Once you select locations (MSO accounts) or a month (single-shop accounts), that filter carries over as you move between report tabs, until you change it again.

Notifications

What does a "decline in activity" notification mean?

It means Repair Plan creation has dropped notably at that location compared to its recent average. Encourage your team to research procedures for every Repair Plan. Your OEC Customer Success contact may also follow up directly if the trend continues. For details on where these notifications appear, see Responding to Low Usage Notifications in Using Reports in RepairLogic Insights.

Can I dismiss the notification?

Yes. Click the × on the banner to dismiss it. It won't reappear until your next visit.

Email

Who receives the monthly email?

Owners, General Managers, Managers, and Production Managers with Insights access.

What does the email include?

The email includes a Usage Summary snapshot comparing the previous month to the month before. It also includes download and view links for each report you have access to.

Can I forward my report link to someone else?

Yes, but they'll see their own access and data, not yours.
