Creating a Repair Plan

Repair plans are created by inputting vehicle information and adding repair procedures to the plan from a list of vehicle-specific procedures. 

Note: At any point, click Vehicle from the left-side panel to make updates to the selected damage areas. (Vehicle details themselves cannot be changed.)


To create a new repair plan:

  1. Click New Plan on the right.

  2. If the VIN is known, type it into the provided field of the Vehicle Information section.

    1. The vehicle's year, make, model, and trim level will populate based on this information. 
  3. If the VIN is unknown, choose the vehicle's Year, OEM, and Model from the drop-down menus in the Vehicle Information section.

  4. Choose the vehicle's color from the Exterior Color drop-down menu.

  5. If desired, type the Repair Order number in the provided field.

  6. In the Damage Areas section:
    1. Click a circle indicating the primary impact. (This will be noted by a large circle with a star and listed next to Primary Impact.)

    2. Click additional circles to indicate additional damage areas. (These will be noted by smaller circles and listed next to Secondary Impact(s).)

    3. Check boxes under Additional Damage Types as needed to indicate further damage. (These items will be listed next to Secondary Impact(s).)

  7. Once all impacted areas have been selected, click Start in the lower right. 


From here, add vehicle-specific and damage-specific procedures to the plan.
