Clearing RepairLogic's Cache and Cookies

There are times when clearing/deleting your internet browser's cache or cookies can help RepairLogic run smoothly and reduce the possibility of the following: 

  • a white screen
  • an unexpected error message
  • a continually loading screen

This process varies based on the browser. Click the appropriate browser from the list for step-by-step instructions: 

We recommend that this process is done on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.


To clear history and cache in Google Chrome:

  1. Click on the Customize and control Google Chrome (6938_ClearCacheChrome6.jpg) icon in the upper right-hand corner of the browser and then select Settings.

  2. Click Privacy and security from the left-hand navigation.

  3. Within the Privacy and security section, click Cookies and other site data.

  4. Scroll through the list of options until you locate See all site data and permissions. Click to open.

  5. Scroll through your list of sites or use the Search option to locate RepairLogic.

  6. Click the trash can icon for the repairlogic.com line item.

  7. A confirmation window displays. Click Clear to complete the deletion process.

  8. Close any Chrome browser windows that are open.
  9. Open a new browser window and navigate back to RepairLogic

To clear history and cache in Microsoft Edge:

  1. Click on the Settings and more (6938_ClearCacheEdge1.jpg) menu in the upper right-hand corner of the browser and then select Settings.

  2. Click Cookies and site permissions from the left-hand navigation.

  3. Click Manage and delete cookies and site data.

  4. Click See all cookies and site data.

  5. Scroll through your list of sites or use the Search cookies option to locate RepairLogic.

  6. Click Remove all shown.

  7. A confirmation window displays. Click Clear to complete the deletion process.

  8. Close any Edge browser windows that are open.
  9. Open a new browser window and navigate back to RepairLogic.

To clear history and cache in Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Click on the Open Application Menu (6938_ClearCacheFirefox1.jpg) button in the upper right-hand corner of the browser and then click Settings.

  2. Click Privacy & Security from the left side panel.

  3. Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section and then click Manage Data.

  4. Scroll through your list of sites or use the Search websites option to locate RepairLogic.
  5. Click Remove All Shown.

  6. RepairLogic will be removed from the list. Click Save Changes.

  7. Close any Firefox browser windows that are open.
  8. Open a new browser window and navigate back to RepairLogic
